At Hampden Park Public School we have 3 Autism Support Classes and 1 Multi-categorical class, with a capacity of 28 students.
Every specialist class has a teacher and a school learning support officer, and offers evidence based teaching practices to support the education and wellbeing of all our students.
Our programs for students are carefully planned in consultation between school staff, the student and parents, with individualised learning based on each students ability and needs.
We provide a range of educational opportunities to support students within the classroom and also practical life skills, such as basic cooking skills and Community Access.
At Hampden Park Public School we strive for a holistic approach to the educational needs of our students in the Support Unit, in an inclusive and safe environment.
