Each school in NSW offers something slightly different depending on the community. Here's what we offer for you.
Canteen

Uniforms
When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.
Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:
meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation
includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics
is appropriate for the full range of school activities
is suitable for all body shapes.

DOE Supporting families
A range of services is available to support families, including translation and interpreter services, adult education, adult English programs and telephone counselling services.
Parent information
Parent information that is relevant for your child's education is available in English and other community languages.
Counselling
The school counsellor can assist when families undergo a trauma or big change. Contact us to make an appointment. For information in community languages see school counselling service.
Free telephone counselling services (outside of the education system) are available to support families who may be going through a difficult time.

Interpreter service
Parents and carers who need assistance speaking English well can get help through the telephone interpreting services. Parents and carers who have a hearing impairment can also request assistance with a sign-language interpreting service.
An interpreter can be requested for school matters involving your child such as enrolment, subject choice, educational progress, attendance, welfare or behaviour. Interpreters can also be requested for parent-teacher interviews, school meetings, school council meetings, and parents and citizens meetings.
The language interpreting number is 131 450. Ask for an interpreter for the required language and the interpreter will call our school and stay on the line to assist you with your conversation. You will not be charged for this service. Parents and carers who need an interpreter to attend a school meeting should let us know in advance.
Adult education
Community colleges across NSW offer adult and community education courses ranging from general interest courses to nationally accredited courses.
NSW Adult Migrant English Service (AMES) runs English language programs for migrants.
DOE Student counselling
School counsellors are experienced teachers who have a degree in psychology and post-graduate qualifications in school counselling. They can work with students of all ages and their families, throughout their school years.

The school counsellor can also assist students who may be feeling extremely sad or anxious. Contact us if you would like to make an appointment.
It is important to seek help early if you notice any major change in your child's behaviour.

We create and maintain a safe school environment by protecting the wellbeing of our students and promoting positive relationships between students.
Child protection
Strict safety checks are in place to protect students including criminal record checks of all permanent and casual teachers. We teach our students to recognise when they may be unsafe and how to get help.
Internet safety
Web filtering technology prevents students from accessing inappropriate material on the internet and email system.
Bullying
We work hard to prevent bullying in our school and we recognise that the best outcomes are achieved by school communities, parents, students and teachers, working together to help prevent and to respond to bullying.
Our Anti-bullying Plan includes protection, prevention, early intervention and response strategies for student bullying. Any student who experiences bullying and any person who witnesses bullying should report it to a teacher or the school principal.
Racism
Anti-racism education is taught in our classrooms and we make every effort to ensure our school is free from discrimination. Our anti-racism contact officer can help any member of the school community who wishes to raise a complaint of racism. Sun safety
We teach students about the damaging effects of the sun and promote sun safety practices.
Road safety
Road safety education is taught to all students from Kindergarten to Year 10 as part of personal development, health and physical education (PDHPE). Driver education programs are also taught as part of the PDHPE 7-10 syllabus.

You may apply to use our school’s facilities for appropriate purposes provided your hiring of the facility doesn't interfere with our teaching and learning programs.
