Co-curricular programs
At Hampden Park Public School, we believe in providing a well-rounded education that goes beyond the classroom. Our co-curricular activities offer students a variety of opportunities to explore their interests, develop new skills, and contribute to the school community.
Debating
Any student with an interest in public speaking can join our debating team. Teams take part in competitions and become confident active speakers. The debating team is led by Ms Katsilis and Ms Kousoulas.
Choir
The choir is run by Mr Chen and Mr Kisur. This year, they are participating in the 2025 Our Spectacular concert.
Dance Troupe
Our Dance Troupe is open to students of all ages and abilities. It is led by Ms Diyab and Ms Kung. Last yera, they participated in the Combined Schools Concert.
Arts Club
The arts club is run during breaks by Ms Radwan and Ms El Ti.
Drawing Club
The drawing club is run for Year 1 and 2 at Break 1 by Ms Kalia and Ms Tsiokaras.
Library Monitor Program
A leadership program run by Miss Brady and Mrs Flood where stage 3 monitors are trained to run lunch time borrowing, social activities and help out with computer problems.
Like a Girl
Hampden Park Public School initiative created to provide an equal opportunity for girls in Years 3-6 to participate in school activities promoting physical and emotional wellbeing.
Men2Be
Hampden Park Public School initiative to provide opportunities for boys to engage in physical fitness, regulate their behaviour to focus on class and to bond with each other across stage groups.
Student Leadership
Our school captains and vice captains work together to achieve goals, build school spirit and promote a responsible attitude. Our students develop leadership and teamwork skills by participating in school events and collaborating on initiatives to improve the school. The team is led by Ms Huttly and Mr Richmond.
